DAY 4
When protests began following the killing of George Floyd in May, dozens of Apple Stores were boarded up to protect from looting and vandalism. Local artists and Apple’s own store teams saw the plywood sheets as blank canvases to speak up against racism and transformed storefronts into works of art.
Four Apple Stores in Canada — Sainte-Catherine, Eaton Centre, Yorkdale, and DIX 30 — were painted by store teams in solidarity with Black Lives Matter. Each mural was designed with a unique image and message.
Phil designed and accepts commissions for Motusphera, a kinetic luminaire fusing illumination and motion.
Alireza is a film photographer capturing moody street scenes in both Toronto and Tehran, Iran.
Davi is a designer and iPhone photographer specializing in branding and lettering.
Tierra is an illustrator and designer in Edmonton. Her artwork comes alive in texture and color through the lens of nostalgia.
